2021 may have been another COVID-19 dominated year, but I am thankful for a few lessons and realizations.
- I learnt it is okay to be selfishly independent.
- I started learning a new language.
- I understood it is okay to not be positive all the time.
- I experienced compatibility in its true sense.
- I realized I am still being productive when I am doing nothing.
- My belief that humanity trumps all got validated again this year.
- I learnt having no opinion is far better than making an uninformed one.
- I started investing in new work skills.
- I got a bit triggered when I heard about dowry deaths.
- I started questioning my biases.
- I realized stressing over unimportant things is just not worth your energy and mental space.
- I began taking an interest in cryptocurrency.
- I saw a Tata Nano car owner and was once again impressed.
- I once again realized how good health is way more important than anything else in this world.
- I understood it is important to learn from other people’s mistakes as well.
- I fell in love with Naval Ravikant’s wisdom! 🙂
- I started investing time on learning personal finance on my own.
- I read a lot of books on stock markets and mutual funds.
- I realized I need not tell everyone everything.
- I finally learnt to be at peace with failing friendships, relationships.
- I finally got rid of my eye strain.
- I survived yet another scathing annual performance review.
- I became more active physically and mentally.
- I discovered a new favorite fictional story.
Here’s to learning a lot more in 2022.
Signing off. Happy Holidays. See you next year! 🙂
